The last time we connected, I shared that I was starting my home office makeover and I’m so excited to share an update.
If you’re new here, we moved in our house in November 2021 and I decided I wasn’t going to rush to decorate it like I did in our last home. I want the decor in this house to be intentional and tell our story, no matter how long it takes.
I rested at the beginning of 2021, focused on work and enjoying family time but once spring arrived, I got to work on my home office since it’s where I spend time building the business. It’s also the first room you see when you enter our home so I wanted it to be bright, airy and welcoming. Scroll to see the progress we’ve made and keep reading to see what’s left.
The desk is hands down my favorite part of the space. There is room for me to work on my computer and even do some creative tasks which is ideal for me–someone who loves a pen and pad as much as the computer.
And can we talk about this desk lamp? It’s beautiful, dimmable and it tilts! So I can adjust it however I need to have adequate lighting when I’m working. Below are links to the desk and desk light.

Here’s a view of the other side of the desk. I need to steam my curtains to get the wrinkles out, purchase a new mouse pad and add some decor to my shelves. I’ll probably search HomeGoods or AtHome for those items.

I plan to purchase these over time as they’re a little pricier but I’m hoping to have this entire space completed by the end of the year so I can start 2023 with a renewed space for creating.
